![]() As society moves further away from Judeo-Christian values, it’s felt the most in our homes. Family & student ministry in the context of a changing society. Both responses are unnecessary and this session will help us know how we can better respond, engage, and help others do the same. How do we respond when someone we love has a contrasting conviction to ours? For instance, when someone has a loved one “come out” to them, some people change their biblical view of sexual intimacy and others cling so tightly to their convictions that there’s no room in life for their loved one. ![]() Building bridges with nobodies, somebodies, and everybody in between. ![]() During this first session, we’ll discuss some practical ways to read society, understand your context, keep up with the changing times, and how people change with society. It’s important to be a lifelong student of the Bible and leadership, but what about the society you live in? Whether you minister in a small Midwest town, growing suburb, or a bustling metropolitan area, studying your context is paramount… because your society is always changing.
